Some people are right handed and some are left handed. Equally some are right footed and some are left. The Kabbalists teach that there are right eyed people and left eyed. The right eyed are those that always see good in others and the left eyed always manage to find some negative.

Moshe Rabbeinu, on seeing the land of Israel, said, “I will infuse it with blessing through my Ayin Hatov (good eye)”. Anyone who possess a good eye is a student of Avraham. Anyone who possess an evil eye is of the students of Bilaam (Ethics of the Fathers 5:19)”. There is nothing more that the Jewish people need more of today than a little Ayin Tov.
